110 Years Alamogordo Public Library

The Alamogordo Public Library celebrated it's 110th anniversary.  I attended the festivities and ran into several people that I had not seen in years.  The Library is such an important part of any society and we are trying so hard to get funds for a new building.

This is state representative Gloria Vaughn who has been instrumental in trying to push through funding in the legislature.

Here is the unveiling of the plaques for people who purchased virtual deeds for the building of the new library.
I found this old postcard It doesn't look much different today.

  1. Thanks for the update on the library and the unveiling of the virtual deeds. What a perfect way for the Hudson's to make their mark on Alamogordo!
