Old high school

I was at the public school administrative offices today and thought about the past uses of that area.  Due to it being afternoon, the pictures aren't great, but just looking around brought memories.  Those of us in 10th, 11th and 12th grade who were going to school there in Dec. 1968 left it behind to start in January at the "new" high school recently featured on the blog. It then became the Alamogordo Middle School for many years before students joined again in a 4 year high school.
A look at the school from the west.  And then across the street where there used to be a football field,
is the "new" post office.

And I just can't leave out one of my favorite trees in Alamogordo which across from the post office.

  1. The tree looks like one of the Christmas trees from the "Grinch". Being a grinch, it holds a special place in my heart.

  2. Absolutely. Every time I drive by, I think of Dr. Suess....

  3. Guess that's why it's one of my favorite trees!
