Historic Homes


This is my grandfather Ed Beal and his mother in 1947. They spent 7 years restoring the house because when they bought it, it was in terrible disrepair. The ground floor even had chickens living in it.

    I always heard the Beals had lived in this house but now I know for sure. They must have moved from there to the house they built here in La Luz where they were good neighbors for so many years.
